In 2009 theWit Hotel became Chicago's newest and most ambitious boutique hotel. Located in the heart of Chicago's Loop in downtown, the hotel features three restaurants, full service spa, screening room and movie theater to go along with its 298 guest rooms.

Originally asked to create the identities for the three restaurants, BoyBurnsBarn was also brought in to handle a variety of the designs needed for the hotel itself. Included in those materials were all of the in-room dining menus that feature offerings from all three hotel restaurants. The "3 Experiences" menu was created to marry the three unique restaurants in one menu design. The "We're Waking Up Hungry" door hang menu was the accompanying piece featuring food from the restaurant State and Lake.

A logo created for the movie theater SCREEN anchored around the iconic 3, 2, 1 countdown from old movie reels.

The final design piece to tie everything together was the "Events At The Wit" stationery package featuring the hotel's iconic, neon green lighting bolt.

With five different branded experiences housed in one hotel, theWit is a virtual portfolio case for us in the guise of a 27-story building. Given the enormous success of each entity in the hotel, we're real proud to have been a part of creating the visual experience for each guest who stays there.
