Alice is all grown up and is called back to Wonderland again in this new Broadway musical. This original musical is the story of the adult Alice's new adventure through Wonderland to help sort out her adult problems with the help of numerous colorful characters that she encounters. With a story both familiar and new we had the pleasure of creating the key art for this production.
Coming in from the ground floor, armed with only the script we created multiple conceptual directions before landing on a final design that works right side up and upside down; a perfect solution for the zany world of Wonderland where perspectives often change and shift.
Our final design depicts the silhouette of the tea part scene where Alice confronts the Hatter in what appears to be a tense stand off. The reflection of that is the skyline of Manhattan in which Wonderland sits beneath. Here we have a poster that hints just a bit at the story while luring you down the rabbit hole along with Alice.
