Cyan Designs is a high-end home furnishings store with a single showroom located in Dallas, Texas. As part of a special promotion to send three winners on lavish vacations they wanted to create retro travel agency posters to get the word out. They came to us to create three huge posters for their showroom featuring the winning destinations of Iceland, Las Vegas and Hawaii. Any chance to use planes in a design, and we're in.
Capturing that "so bad and cheesy it's actually good" style of design, that is oh so elusive, we think we did a pretty good job with grainy images matched with some odd ball copy that would make any 60's travel agency proud.
